Ropewalk Market?

There's a new video on You Tube "Europe for Foodies with Cameron Hewitt" on the Rick Steves Travel Talks account.
He said that the best meal he ever had in London was in Ropewalk Market. I'd never heard of it, apparently maps to nearby London Bridge on the South Bank.

Has anyone been there? Any suggestions about it?
Thanks,
Alison

We had lunch at the Maltby Market two years ago. It was fun and there were lots of interesting and tasty-looking options. I did have trouble finding something gluten-free and do not recall what I ended up choosing.

If it’s what I’m thinking of, the Ropewalk market is essentially a wide alley of cafes, a coffee roaster, home salvage, etc. and it’s covered or at least stopped at on the London Walks Bermondsey walk. I popped in one of the places to use the toilet and grab a cup of coffee. I was there Thanksgiving morning last year, and the only people around that Thurs morning were those of us on the tour and employees from the area. I’m assuming there’s more going on other times/weekends (?)

Thanks, I just thought it was significant that Cameron Hewitt was saying he had his best meals in London at that market :) I wonder what he had chosen :) Could be good to know about to perhaps avoid some Burrough Market crowds, if one is already in the neighborhood.
Thanks again,
Alison
