I'm staying about 10 minutes from Victoria Station off of Vauxhall Bridge Road, in London, over Christmas. Does anyone know of any restaurants open for dinner around the area on Christmas? Thanks!
Firstly to answer - no I don't.
Additional advice, worth what you paid for it - you may not know that no public transport moves on Christmas Day. No tubes, no red buses, no trains. There may be a one National Express coach service but that won't help you for getting around London.
When you do find somewhere you are strongly advised to get your reservation in. Very few places will be open, some will be ethnic, no chains, and if you find a place either within walking distance or if you are willing to pay the very high Christmas tariff in a taxi, go for it.
Expect to pay a high price for Christmas dinner.
Check the major hotels in the area, and perhaps beyond. Be prepared to walk to dinner but you will probably find a cab on the way back.
