We'll be in London for a week in June and staying at Luna and Simone in Pimlico. Are there restaurants nearby? I'm hoping there's a street nearby with lots of choices in close proximity to the hotel and each other. Also curious about Luna and Simone's breakfast. Anyone familiar with it? What did you think? We love breakfast and love the convenience of having a good one just downstairs. Oh, and do they have coffee in the rooms?
There are dozens of restaurants in the area. It's also near Victoria Station so if you walk toward Wilton Road and Victoria Station there are many along there.
If you are up for a short walk there are even more restaurants if you walk St George's Drive over the Elizabeth Bridge (over train tracks) and continue on Elizabeth Street there are a number along there as well.
Go to googlemaps. Put in Luna Simone then click on "nearby" and "restaurants". You'll be spoiled for choice.
I've not stayed at this hotel so no info on the specifics of the rooms.
I have stayed at L & S several times. I don't remember if there was coffee, but a hot pot and coffee/tea supplies are usually in hotel rooms in England. I love Grumbles which is right around the corner. I am especially fond of the fish pie. L & S breakfast is the usual English breakfast-eggs, English type bacon, etc., I think you are also offered cereal & juice. No lift and no a/c so I always ask for a room on the ground floor. Many pubs, restaurants, small groceries in neighborhood and everything you could ask for at nearby Victoria Station. The Rick Steves' guide book describes the neighborhood well and there is a great map. 2 nearby Tube stations & bus to Trafalgar Sq right outside the hotel.
