We are looking for a good English or French food restaurant around medium $$$ price range in Covent Gardens area. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Seconding Palm Court Brasserie. Like Emma, I'd expected it to be a bit of a tourist rip-off but discovered genuinely good French food, with exceptional fish dishes on the "specials" list.
