Reservations at Westminster Abbey

I went online today and reserved 3 tickets for our June trip, I was able to copy off the description of what I ordered and how much I paid. I had to give my home address (I assume for mailing the tickets to me). I also had to give my charge card information. I never received confirmation back. I looked online and about a year ago people were writing in and saying the same thing. I'm concerned my reservation did not go through. Have any of you had this same experience? Do you have suggestions for me? Thanks.

My experience was that when I booked they sent the tickets to my email and I just showed my phone for entrance. I don't think they would want the cost of mailing you anything.

I went to the Abbey today. Time reserved tickets are not required. Audio guides in use and verger tours running as usual.

Sorry to piggyback on this, but the website still sells timed tickets. Are you saying they aren’t necessary because there are plenty of openings? (Understanding the jubilee will impact this). I’m also interested in Verger tours but those still have to be done onsite so I’m trying to figure out timing of how early to get there to be sure if a spot. Sorry to butt in but also thanks.

I can only really report on my experience today. People just showed up, bought tickets, and went in. The line for admission (you still wait in this line whether you have a ticket or not) was approximately 5 minutes at 9:30 am on a Wed morning. The next verger tour with openings was at 10:30. We wandered around with the audio guides while waiting.

The verger tour is just so much better than the audio guide! If you have time, take the verger tour.

Lunch at Cellarium cafe where they do not take cash.
