Asking on behalf of a friend:
He is flying from Oregon to Switzerland via Heathrow on British Air this coming Sunday, October 24th. He is planning to take the PCR test since he will be changing planes at Heathrow. Is a COVID test necessary?
On this page https://www.heathrow.com/customer-support/faq/coronavirus-covid-19#transfer-passengers click on “Transiting Passengers” and make certain they know the Swiss arrival rules. They should apply for a Swiss COVID Certificate ASAP for 30CHF.
Laurel...are you back in Oregon...or keeping late Italian hours? But more importantly, is there really a 30 CHF fee for the Swiss Covid Certificate? Do you still apply to the visiting Canton or somewhere else?
Still in Europe! France, now.
The Swiss Local reported the 30 CHF fee but I don’t recall when it starts. I posted the article a few days ago in the Swiss Forum. Check the Swiss gov’t site I posted on your other inquiry. It has changed a lot since I applied in August. Hopefully smoother overall with the fee!
Laurel, Thanks for the info on the Swiss Covid Certificate. I did a search and found the article you mentioned.
France, huh?...so envious.
