Renting a flat in London

Hello everyone. I would like advice on renting a flat in London. Other than Airbnb what other companies are there I can use? Thank you.

Try googling "vacation rentals london" for a list. VRBO is certainly an alternative to Airbnb, and there are several other companies. Searching the same term on this forum (top of page) might give you more info.

Not associated with it, never used it but London Perfect is a well known UK rental agency.

We have had excellent experiences renting from London Perfect two different times and properties.

I think we are all thinking short term vacation type apartment.

Is that what you are after or are you looking for a sabbatical or other long term?

I'm afraid your query isn't clear.

So, really, what part of London, for when, for how long, and for how many people?

Try Coach House Rentals. A small company, but flats all over the city, and very good, personal service.

Thanks to everyone for replying. Yes I meant short stay or vacation rental. I’d like to rent an apartment for one month in London. Either in October 2021 or spring of 2022. Once again thanks for the replies. I greatly appreciate it.

I used Coach House about 6-7 years ago and it was great. They give you a starter pack of supplies and help with planing your visit if you want it.

Look at Vrbo and Butler Wharf rentals. Large complex. There are restaurants, cafes, etc nearby. Closest tube is Bermondsey but almost easier to walk across Tower Bridge to the Tower Hill stop adjacent to the Tower of London. You can also walk along the Thames path over to the area around the Shard. Review what might on at the Bridge Theatre. In 2019 enjoyed seeing Laura Linney in “My Name is Lucy Barton.”Modern theatre. Good sight lines. Comfortable seating.

The Maltby Street Market farmers market is open Sat, Sun and Monday ( although given Covid ramifications and reopening double check times).

Not in the “center” of London but easy 15 -20 tube ride to Westminster and Parliament Square.
