Renting a car in the UK

Hi all,

My husband and I are renting a car from National Rental Car for 2 weeks whilst we travel around England.

Has anyone had experience purchasing their extra insurance coverage, I believe Rick Steves calls it CDW, collision damage waiver.

Thanks for any and all information and/or experiences you may have had.

I have not. But be sure to check your credit card to make sure they don't already cover CDW. Many do. You can call your card company and ask how it all works to be certain, but it can save you money if you have that option.
