In another thread, @eatsrootsandleaves gave a fabulous itinerary for exploring the UK with a van. As van-people in North America, this made our hearts sing!
Who had experience with longer term (> 2 weeks) camper van hire? We love the vans from QuirkyCampervans, but those are Turo-like personal vans, so not quite the ticket for a summer of roaming.
We hired our van for 6 weeks from Spaceships. It was just a little van but was enough for us.
PS. We will be heading off for a few weeks vanning around NZ's South Island next month.

Vanning around NZ is on the radar for a year from now (Spring 2025) so I do hope you may be able to post about your journey in the “beyond Europe” sub-forum.

We are looking at Ratpack for the van but haven't booked it yet.
I intend to post some details about NZ when I get back.
In Tasmania we used Just Cruisin and in Western Australia used Britz.
