Reliable and reasonably priced transfer service from Heathrow Airport to Hotel

I will be leaving for London on May22nd.
I would like to take at car, taxi or mini cab to my hotel from Heathrow....Does anyone have a company they would recommend that is reasonably priced and reliable.

Thanks

For a shared minivan option, which probably is not what you meant, see www.heathrowshuttle.com. A taxi for the one-hour ride into west or central London can cost 45 - 75 pounds, depending on traffic (x $1.68 = yikes!).

Yikes!!! Is right! I will look into that shuttle. A number of people said that "Just airports" is reliable and reasonable. Have you every heard of them?

Thanks for all the great information. I am still a little unsure , but I think I am going to book with Exclusive Airports. Their price is very reasonable compare to some others. I am little worried about booking a return from Hotel to Airport now, because if they are late I might miss my plane.

Thank you again

Pattie - I know you said you would like to take a Taxi to your hotel the Best Western Shaftesbury Paddington Court. I googled mapped the hotel location and it appears to be a short 5 min walk from Paddington Station. Another form of transportation is the Heathrow Connect. The cost is £9.90 per person.

I would recommend Just Airports. Reliable service at reasonable prices. With 3 of you I would recommend the car service over the Heathrow Express.

I will be going to London as well and the option of using the Heathrow Connect is appealing since it is relatively inexpensive. I am staying in the Kensington area near Finborough Rd and Ifield Rd. I have been looking at the Tube/Train map and am wondering if I need to take the train all the way to Padington Station, or if there is a way I can get off sooner and get to my accommodations. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Piccadilly line direct to Earls Court would probably be quicker than going via Paddington, as well as being a zero stairs route. Still about a mile walk though.

Another vote for Just Airports. Many people on this board recommend them. They give a discount for paying cash.

We have used "Just Airports" and really liked them. I wouldn't want to have to take luggage on any public transportation.
