My sister and I will be in Manchester for one night, Oct. 27, before we depart MAN for St. Louis at 8:00am the next day. I'm looking for hotel recommendations. Our budget is 100-150 pounds per night.

In that price range is the very nice McDonald Manchester Hotel & Spa. www.macdonaldhotels.co.uk/our-hotels/macdonald-manchester-hotel-spa/ It has lovely rooms, comfy beds, many amenities, and a spa!

I stayed one night at Bewleys at the airport. It's pretty modern so not much charm but at the end on a trip you may be charmed out, lol. Price looks good and IIRC the bed was comfortable.
