Can anyone please recommend a reasonably priced hotel close by The Royal Albert Hall in London.
I have been lucky enough to source a couple of tickets to the Annual Christmas Carol Concert and am finding the cost of hotels prohibitive. Im trying to book somewhere well in advance and hopefully get a decent rate. Any personal recommendations would be awesome as the regular booking sights can be mind boggling.

If you can clarify what "reasonable" means to you, we can make some suggestions. Generally I'd recommend budgeting £200-£300 a night of you want something more than a Premier Inn (which is fine, but basic). And by close, are tou ok with a short tube ride?

I stayed at The Bailey's Hotel last year. Great location across from Gloucester Road Underground Station. It's about a 20 minute walk or a quick taxi/Uber ride away.
The Radisson Blu South Kensington is a 15 minute walk.

We’ve stayed at The Bailey’s - and it’s lovely. Not right across the street, but easy walking distance from the Royal Albert Hall. Staff is welcoming, rooms are spotless. And they have this amazing “flat cat” made of, I assume, rabbit fur that sits on the table in the lobby during the Christmas season.
I am so jealous that you scored tickets! Dang! That is going to be an amazing night.

We stayed at the Premier Inn Victoria and it was an easy bus ride to Royal Albert Hall, where we had tickets to a concert. The bus left from Victoria Station, I believe and it was about a 10 minute ride. We could have taken the tube, but it had a longer walk on both ends.

Did you look at Hotel 63? It is across the park, has some very reasonable rates .

This Isn’t lodging, but while you’re in the area, also check out any performances at the Royal College of Music, immediately across Prince Regent Road from the Albert Hall. We were in London last December, and went to professional level performances that cost next-to-nothing.

Premier Inns are very basic, but predictable and acceptable. The rates do go up the closer to your date.

We also stayed at the Premier Inn near Victoria Station and found it convenient to get around London.
The room rates were very reasonable and they have a good breakfast (it is extra, but not expensive).

I second the suggestion for Hotel 63 (63 Bayswater Rd)
Right across the road is the gate to Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens. Walk across that park to the other side and you arrive at Royal Albert Hall. (Kensington Palace is along the path from one to the other)
I would not hesitate to stay there again if I did not have other accommodations with my daughter, who lives in another part of London

Thanks to you all for the suggestions, I have booked the Hotel 63 as it suits our budget and we shall enjoy the walk across Hyde Park(weather permitting)
I agree Premier inns can be really suitable to those on a budget.

OP, Shelia’s Cafe is behind 63 and across the street from the Mitre. Small cafe. Nice breakfasts.
The Mitre pub is nice for a lunch. Or walk over to the gorgeous Victoria Paddington on Strathearn Place.
Are you thinking of walking through Hyde Park after the theatre performance? Make note the park gates are locked at midnight.
Best to hail a cab to return to 63. Have done it countless times during my stays there.
