We want to take the scenic route from Carlisle to Settle and eventually end up in Liverpool...thoughts on the best place to make a connection for a train to Liverpool? We will be taking carry-on suitcases with us....Will be travelling on a Saturday.

Due to a land slip there is currently a replacement bus service between Carlisle and Appleby.

After Settle the train will continue to Leeds from where you can take a train to Liverpool.
