Anyone having problems with the Eurostar from London to Paris? We have tickets for May 28 which is listed as a strike date. Yikes!
It's too early for you to get hard news about your particular departure but do read up on the general procedures, especially through the same agent where you booked your ticket:
https://www.eurostar.com/uk-en/disruption/service-information.
https://en.oui.sncf/train/strike.

interesting....the Rail Europe site implies the strike will be over on May 31st. I thought it was scheduled to last through June?
We are coming back to London from Paris on what is listed as a strike day in June. Based on what people on the France page and my conversation with someone from the Eurostar website:
- It's too early to know if your train will be affected
- Per the lady at Eurostar, its possible none of the Eurostar trains will be affected
- if you have entered your contact information with your ticket, they will notify you at least 1 week prior to your train departure if it will be affected
- not all trains could be affected. In other words the train before or after yours may still run if they cancel yours.
- the websites that someone else listed were the same ones I was given to check the status.
Hope this helps some. I hope they settle whatever it is before our trains.
Thank you all. I have read all the same info, but wondered if anyone had actually experienced it yet? Must be a real mess at the station. Horrible situation with Air France also on strike off and on. Good luck to all of us this year. :-)
I just read an article in The Seattle Times, "Stranded in London after a canceled train." Discusses Eurostar's policy and resolution to canceled train from London to Paris. Seattletimes.com/travel. Good information for both inexperienced and experienced traveler's.
