Due to a partial bridge collapse due to a bridge strike by a high vehicle the West Coast Main Line to Manchester, Liverpool, North Wales, the Lake District and Scotland is currently blocked between Rugby and Nuneaton.
Where possible trains will be diverted via the West Midlands non stop with extended journey times, but some trains will be cancelled.
This is a live situation, so it is unclear how long disruption will last for.
This note is in case disruption extends into tomorrow (Friday 12 June) or beyond.
Ticket acceptance is in place from St Pancras on East Midlands Railway via Derby to Crewe, or to Manchester and Liverpool via Sheffield.
