We're planning to go from York to Stow on the Wold via public transportation on a Sunday. It seems like it's only possible to take 3 trains (transfer at Birmingham New St and Worcester Shrub Hill) to get to Moreton in Marsh and it takes about 5 hrs. Does anyone know of an better way to get to Stow on the Wold? Is there a long distance bus that connects the 2 places? Or should I take the train to London and transfer to Moreton in Marsh?
We're planning to go next spring, I have plenty of time to figure things out. But I would love to visit both places this trip.
