Problem with Heathrow Express tickets purchase

Will I need actual printed tickets to board the Heathrow express at the airport, or will my confirmation email with the reference # be sufficient?

I purchased my tickets for the Heathrow Express from the airport to Paddington. I have misplaced my log in information. I've requested a password reset 4 hours ago but have not yet received it. I'm thinking maybe I purchased these tickets as a guest without creating an account.

I received a confirmation email that has all the pertinent information on it, but it doesn't not have tickets with it, only a QR code square.

If anyone can help with this it will be greatly appreciated. I am finalizing all the details of our trip and printing all necessary documents.

I can't be sure about THIS train, but for trains I have taken in other countries the QR square is what the conductor scans to verify your trip. Either printed or on your phone.

I just checked my ticket from last year and it has a fairly large QR square on it. That's what they scanned.

I no longer have ours to check, but I believe the email with the square matrix code IS the ticket. Just print that out and bring it.

The confirmation email with the QR code is your ticket. It also shows a reference code, direction(s) of travel , travel dates and other details.

Enjoy your trip.

You just need the bar code. I have the bar code on my iPhone to use in September.

Patty, Rocket, and I are all saying the same thing about the email---print that as it IS the ticket. Robin Z and continental are referring to a ticket on your phone with a bar code; that is different (one chooses to receive confirmation either by email or SMS when you buy the ticket online).
