Just a warning - I arranged to hire a car for a week in fall 2022, which included full payment when the reservation was made. However, due to personal issues I had to cancel. At first, the company communicated with me about the cancellation and a refund. Then it went totally quiet and did not respond to any attempts I made to communicate with it and the refund promised has not been provided.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. I have no personal experience of the company but I have read through a number of reviews, the majority of which were highly rated. There were a few negative reviews mainly regarding van hire however the gist I got from reading the negative reviews is that the company is a bit disjointed when it comes to communication. They don't appear to be a cowboy company so it might be worth a bit more persistence in trying to make contact.

So I finally heard back from Prime Drive almost 2 months after our last conversation. The refund has been worked out and paid. However, it could not be done as a refund on the credit card that paid for the reservation, but as a bank transfer from the UK to Canada which involved bank service fees. I am happy to get the bulk of the money back, but the time and expense involved was annoying.
