Sky and BT have recently announced the first block of televised fixtures for the coming Premier League season, which means kick off day/time changes for games. Thanks for the information. I will be there over Christmas and would like to see a match in London on either Boxing Day or Dec. 31. I have the schedule, and would prefer seeing Arsenal at the Emirates on one of those two days. What is the best way to get tickets?

Larry, Arsenal tickets are in very high demand for obvious reasons. To acquire them you need to sign up for club membership (for a fee) and apply for tickets from there when they are released, though there is no guarantee. Alternatives are to buy corporate hospitality, which is way more expensive but very likely to be available, or buy a Thomas Cook Sport package, which is also expensive as it comes with hotel reservations as well as the ticket. Whatever you do, don't buy tickets from touts or reselling sites, unless said site has an official affiliation with Arsenal (which I don't think they have).

Arsenal are home to West Brom on Boxing Day and home to Crystal Palace on New Year's weekend, subject to TV coverage changes. At a guess I'd say West Brom is your best bet for tickets.

Thanks for the good information, and I'm guessing Nigel is not an Arsenal supporter.
In the States we have StubHub, which allows a secondary market for ticket sales and purchases.
It doesn't sound like you have one. Scalping must be illegal. Would a hotel concierge be able to acquire tickets, or is there another way besides the ones you listed, which might not be over my budget?

Some teams have Stubhub as an official reselling site, but I don't think Arsenal are one of them. As for a concierge, I doubt they could acquire tickets for you due to the registration involved. By all means try, just be aware that Arsenal tickets are very sought after so competition will be hot.

Alternatively, you could go see a lower league game, where tickets are more readily available. Millwall are home both Boxing Day and New Year's Eve, as are Brentford, though I think paying a club membership fee is required for them as well. Don't let the term 'lower league' put you off - it's still very competitive at that level, with the same passionate supporters and histories.
