We're looking at the PI Hammersmith locations (both Talgarth and Shepherds Bush).
We were all set to get a superior room so we have at least a fridge and my 15-year-old could eat breakfast for free when I buy the full version on the few days we would want that.
However, when I started reading more and more reviews I noticed many people got rooms with that floor-to-ceiling sliver of a window. It also seems there's no way to guarantee getting a full window. We would be devastated if we got the "sliver" - we need natural light and some kind of a view (even if it's of a car park or the next door air conditioning units).
Any thoughts or experiences with this? In the meantime, we've booked a refundable stay at Residence Inn Marriott Kensington to get a kitchen, floor-to-ceiling windows and an included breakfast buffet - but at a much larger cost (PI = $95/$115 depending on location and RI = $177).
Thanks ahead of time for any and all info!
