Premier Inn T2 T3 or other hotel at Heathrow?

I am traveling solo and it's important to me to have things figured out. I am flying out of Heathrow on June 18th Delta flight at 12:55 located in T3.
I am thinking of staying at the Premier Inn T2 And T3. First is that easy to get to from the rail system? I would be coming either from Bath or possibly Wareham in Dorset on June 17th.

What are the transportation options to T3? The website talks about a bus--is that an airport bus?

Any other hotel recommendations would be welcome.

Thanks in advance.

If you were coming from Wareham I would be inclined to train to Bournemouth, then a National Express bus from right outside the railway station every 90 minutes or so, journey time around 2 1/2 hours. It calls at Terminal 5, Terminal 4 and the Central Bus Station for Terminals 2 and 3.
Otherwise stay on the train to Woking and take the rail air bus from right outside the station.

But don't route through London.

Book that journey as a through ticket.

From the PI there is both a very frequent public bus route to the Central Bus Station and the Hotel Hoppa to T3 departures- routes H2C and H2D

If you got off the Woking or Bournemouth buses at Terminal 5, Hoppa buses H5C and H5D run from there. to the PI.

Terminal 4 - linked to Terminal 2 and 3 by a free train - has 4 hotels attached to the terminal by a covered walkway, first is a Hilton, then a building shared by an excellent Crowne Plaza and very good Holiday Inn Express, and then a good and usually relatively inexpensive Premier Inn.

I stay at the Crowne Plaza if I am on that side of London even when I'm not using the airport.

Terminal 3 and Terminal 2 at Heathrow are connected by an underground passage. (The train and tube entrances are about halfway in between.) (Its a 5-7 minute walk between terminals.)

Inside Terminal 3 is an Aerotel. I've never stayed here.

Connected to Terminal 2 is a Hilton Garden Inn. I have stayed here many times.

As others have said, there are plenty of hotels at Heathrow. How much you want to travel between them and the terminals is a decision you have to make.

I'm female and solo and will be also flying out of Heathrow in April. My flight leaves from Terminal 4, so I am staying at the Holiday Inn Express there. It was very reasonably priced (£98 a night) and looks to be very comfortable. I've stayed at other HEX airport hotels in the UK and have been very pleased with the room and service. It would be relatively easy to get to Terminal 3 from there, I believe.

I stayed at the Premier Inn on Bath Road near Heathrow 2 years ago. Is that the one you are talking about? The hotel was fine, but it was the last (or almost last stop) on the airport bus from the terminals and took forever. In the morning I took a taxi to the terminal to limit my stress level when departing to the US & got to my terminal very quickly.

Mardee you're ok with heights and walking across bridges? A great design point of the HIE T4.

Thanks to all of you for your input. I'm going with the Hilton Garden and using my points.

The transportation information was helpful as well and the real life experience with Premier.

WHAT?????????? Nigel, what bridge are you talking about? I thought it was a covered walkway. I'm ok with something high as long as I don't have to look out and see how high I am. 🤪 And I've seen photos of the walkway, so if that's what you're talking about, I'm fine with that.

I like the design of the T4 Holiday Inn Express / Crowne Plaza a lot. The ground floor is shared by the HIE (to the right) and Crowne Plaza (to the left) lobbies, then working anticlockwise around is the HIE Reception, the HIE Great Room / breakfast, then the Crowne Plaza bar and lounge, open to all, then the Crowne Plaza dining room / breakfast room, small bar, Crowne Plaza Reception, and you are back around.

In the middle of the circle is a double bank of lifts / elevators (either 3 or 4 on each side) up to the rooms, in the middle of the open atrium all the way to the ceiling. When you get out of the lift between the bank of lifts and the rooms is what you called a walkway (unless you are talking about the covered walkway into the Terminal, about which I can also wax, upon request) and I call a bridge one each floor, above each other, to cross the atrium, I would guess maybe 30 or 40 feet long, maybe 4 or 5 feet wide, illuminated in purple or blue hidden lights, with walls maybe hip or chest high over which you look to get the view. The (CP rooms - -bridge - - lifts - - bridge - - HIE rooms) forms a diameter across the atrium.

I know the Crowne Plaza is purple light, I wonder if the HIE is green, but I honestly don't remember because I wasn't concentrating on the HIE side. On the CP side the rooms are either outside view or atrium view. I've always had an outside view so I don't know what the view of the bridge is like back from the rooms.

I've tried to describe it as well as I can. Personally I feel perfectly safe on the bridges and love the design. I think they have done a really good job.

On a tangent, on the CP side the Club Level rooms have a Club Lounge which I think is the best CP Club Room I've seen in the UK.

I am sure that the staff on HIE side are much the same, but I will absolutely praise the staff on the CP side who took really good care of both me and my wife but also our friends who were suffering a devastating family tragedy. It was almost like the staff were family, and I have returned several times and always had an excellent reception.
