Premier Inn Soho or Covent Garden

I’m going to London for 11 nights in September. I’ve been to London twice, in 1997 and 2017. I’m trying to decide in which hotel to stay.

I like the PI Covent Garden because it’s closer to Trafalgar Square & the National Gallery and because it’s a little cheaper. But I like the Soho PI because it has a better breakfast.

I know they are pretty close to each other. My question is, which Premier Inn do you think is better to stay in, SoHo or Covent Garden?

Places I want to visit include:
The National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, St Martin-in-the-Fields, The Courtauld Gallery, St. Paul's Cathedral, Tate Modern, Tower of London (no inside), Tower Bridge, The British Museum, The Wallace Collection, Westminster Abbey, Tate Britain, Belgravia, Victoria and Albert Museum, Natural History Museum.

I'd go for the Covent Garden one. Surrounded by restaurants and theatres and the heart of the West End.

Soho is more on a back street and doesn't have the cachet of Covent Garden for a tourist experience.

Hello - is this regular Premier Inn or a Premier Inn Hub hotel ? I know the Hub hotel at Covent Garden but don’t know the regular Premier Inn there so take my advice with a grain of salt if it’s the latter. But I absolutely LOVE the location of the Hub hotel at Covent Garden. That’s what I would choose every London trip if they had availability and I could find an affordable rate. I have stayed at others which have been FINE! And fun — but nothing beats that Covent Garden location for just walking out the door and being right at Trafalgar Square, St Martins in the Fields, National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery. And other places are easy to get to as well !

enjoy your time in London.

We will be staying at the Hub by Premier Inn Covent Garden in September. Really looking forward to it as it looks like such a great idea!

I’ve stayed in both. Soho is a bit closer to nightlife if that’s of interest. Covent Garden has a cafe attached to it, of course there’s plenty of other places to eat nearby to each.

I picked Covent Garden for my June trip as it was £60 less expensive for my dates

Thank you. I booked at the hub by Premier Inn Covent Garden. I love this location. In 2017 I stayed at the Park Plaza Waterloo and did not like the location at all.
