Premier Inn - Fulham

Has anyone stayed at the PI location in Fulham? The address is 295 North End Road, London W14 9NS. Is this a new location? The rates for our trip dates in the fall look very attractive, but a quick search has not yielded much information about this PI.

Happy new year and thank you for your help!

Think it Was a Holiday Inn Express.

Haven’t stayed there.

What is your price range?

Been to London before?

Asking because there are numerous Premeier Inns.

What’s more important…location or price and when you say Fall beware the Lords Mayor Parade happens in November. So does Remembrance Day.

Hi Claudia, this will be a trip in September. I have been to London 5 times since 2022 (stayed at the Hammersmith Shepherds Bush PI last year and loved it), but this time I will be joined by my husband (2nd visit) and my parents (1st visit). My parents have some mobility issues and so we will be using buses and taxis more than the tube. Many of the things they want to do are in the Chelsea and S. Kensington areas, so I was looking at the Earl's Ct PI, but this Fulham one popped up at a very attractive price (~100 GBP/night for the premier room), so I am very intrigued. I also like that it has very easy access to Bus#74. But I am not sure what to make of the fact that there is very little information available about this location online. It also does not show up in the PI hotel directory. I suspect it is a new location, but thought I would ask on this forum since there are so many knowledgeable folks here!

As stated previously, the hotel was a Holiday Inn Express that is being converted to a PI. Since it hasn't opened yet, there is no information on it. It's scheduled to open sometime this psring.

I know the location and it isn't bad. Not far from the West Brompton tube station. (it's also not far from the West Kensington station but that one has limited hours.)

MapLady, there is a website for it, and according to Premier Inn, it is "...near Chelsea Football Club and a five-minute walk to West Kensington Tube Station." It sounds like a good deal. I remember when they opened the new PI at Paddington, prices were marked down considerably for the first few months. So it's probably a good time to get a deal there.

ETA: I was just looking through the website and noticed that next to the room descriptions, it says "Next Evolution Style." I looked that up and it's evidently a new decor style for Premier Inn. Here's a quick look at it that you might be interested in. https://www.premierinn.com/gb/en/why/our-innovation-story/next-evolution-style-rooms.html

Frank II - I was hoping you would chime in! Your explanation makes perfect sense (along with Claudia's).

Mardee - thank you for the added information!

I think I will go ahead and book for September.

MapLady: I think you will be happy with your choice! North End Road is our local shopping street, and just steps from Stamford Bridge, where our club (Chelsea FC) plays. Northend Road is local and London and not touristy, and that, I think, is part of what makes it excellent.

If you are into cemeteries, the Brompton Cemetery will be right on your doorstep: https://www.royalparks.org.uk/visit/parks/brompton-cemetery

You’ll also be close to the new Fulham Pier (https://www.fulhampier.com/) and the amazing Fulham Palace (https://www.fulhampalace.org/).

Volva, thank you for filling in the details. I am definitely quite excited about this location. However, that particular PI is not taking reservations yet. So I guess I need to be patient and wait.
