Prebook taxi from Heathrow to Vauxhall, London?

There are 3 of us and 2 large-size, 2 med-size, and 2 carryon-size wheeled luggages. Since we have many bags to handle, it probably is best to use a taxi from Heathrow to Vauxhall area in London, agree? I understand the cost of a cab would not be cheap for this ride. Or would you still recommend using subway(tube) ride from Heathrow? I do not see a direct line from Heathrow to Vauxhall area, so it will require at least one transfer.
We will be arriving on Thursday morning around 10:30 AM.
Is it best to prebook a taxi online before we leave U.S. or wait to arrive and go to a taxi line?
Thanks.

Book online with Just Airports or BlackBerry before leaving the US.

Be sure when you book to tell them that you have three adults and 6 suitcases so they can send the appropriate vehicle.

I think that using private transportation is the best answer in this case - I can't imagine trying to herd 6 suitcases on the tube. Everybody's hands will be completely occupied.

With that much luggage I would suggest pack mules. :)

When you book the car services listed above, they will give you a set price.

haha. I know we have lots of luggage; our adult daughter will be living in London for one year.
We have 2 large + 2 medium size check-in luggage, and at least 1 carryon luggage.
Thank you for your response.
