Pre trip Thanks

Having booked this trip on a bit of a whim, I wanted to say thanks to all of you who chimed in with assistance and input these past few weeks as I planned this short trip to London with my son. We choose two rooms in the Premier hub in Westminster on Tothill street and look forward to being engaged by a very active London (esp. Nov 11), visiting lots of sights, and checking out at least a few of those resturant recommendations. Will report back later next week. Thanks!

Have a great time! We stayed at that Premier Hub and thought the location was excellent! The breakfast was inexpensive and handy, and our room was designed so well.

The St.James tube stop is very close! But it’s fun to begin by coming out the Westminster one with Big Ben in view.

Anyone going to the Lord Mayor's Show- this is the TfL advice-

If you're planning on attending the Lord Mayor's Show on Saturday 11 November, some stations near to the event will be closed due to planned engineering work.

For the Mansion House area, use the following nearby stations:
St Paul's (Central line)
Liverpool Street (Central line, Elizabeth line and London Overground)
Farringdon (Elizabeth line)
Blackfriars or City Thameslink stations (Thameslink services)
Bank station (Central line, Northern line and DLR) is also close by but expected to be very busy so please use other stations above where possible.
