Any advice on the best way to experience the pottery scene, such as a factory tour, in Stoke-on-Trent? We will only be there on a Saturday.
Thanks for any help you can give!

We went to the Wedgwood and did the Museum and the tour of the factory. But seems to be open only Monday through Friday. You do have to reserve tickets in advance. There are several pottery outlet stores in the area. We bought several gift size souvenirs. Most everyone is closed Easter week.
World of Wedgwood is open 7 days a week- https://www.worldofwedgwood.com/
Middleport Pottery- https://re-form.org/middleportpottery/middleport-pottery
Unfortunately Moorcroft and Emma Bridgewater both look to be weekday only.
There is also the Gladstone Pottery Museum and the Etruria Industrial Museum (formerly called the Etruscan Mill)- the weekend opening dates of the latter in 2025 are to be confirmed.
The Emma Bridgewater factory shop and cafe is open 7 days a week and I would recommend it - the products are a different, more modern take on the likes of Wedgwood. Factory tours are, unfortunately, only available on Mondays, Tuesdays. Thursdays and Fridays.
