My wife and I willl re-engage Cornwall in May for a fourth week there over a lifetime of visits. This time we're based near Polzeath with National Trust and Heritage passes. Their literature's quite clear on area offerings, so our focus is generally elsewhere:
a) good value pubs (under E40 for one app, two entrees and beverage each- can be for lunch, early bird if needed)
b) better shops and outdoor spring markets for cooking/dining at home as well as noteworthy bakeries
c) attractive daily hour's walk
d) broadly quirky/oddly interesting sites including small museums- gotten some great ideas over the years with responses on this focus
All good things and thanks for related offerings--
