Pillars, Kingsbridge, Ken Follett inspired sites.

I'm on the third book and my wife just finished them all so of course our next trip will include England. If you don't know what I'm talking about, lucky you because you have some great reading ahead! Beside the often mentioned Salisbury Cathedral, what other places would be relatable to fans of the series?

I have read all of Follett's books. Unfortunately, I have found a couple of his more recent books to be a bit of a disappointment.

Still, Pillars of the Earth was excellent. It inspired me to visit Salisbury.

Edward Rutherford is a great historical fiction writer and his book Sarum is noteworthy. That is another place you might consider visiting in New Forest not far from Southhampton.
