Picking up pre-ordered train tickets

I am booking train tickets from St. Ives in Cornwall to Cardiff, Wales. I want to reserve them ahead of them to save money. However, I cannot pick up pre-booked tickets at St. Ives.

I'm trying to find out if I can pick them up at Heathrow (about a week earlier when we arrive in England). The website says Heathrow Terminal 3 Train.

Does anybody know if it's possible to pick up pre-booked train tickets at Heathrow? We arrive at terminal 3, but I'm confused by the word "train," and I don't know if that means there's somewhere else we'd pick up the tickets. Would love recommendations on this one!

There is an app called Trainline that will let you use your smartphone as a ticket. I haven't tried it on a train in England yet, but I have bought tickets for a trip this summer. Skipping the use of a ticket machine has a definite sppeal to me.

You can get m-Tickets for GWR, but note that you have to have the phone working to show at any ticket inspection, otherwise you are treated as not having one.

Don't use the trainline, they are a third party reseller that charges extra fees.

I just bought tickets on Virgin Trains and it gave me the option to show the ticket on my smartphone. I've also printed a copy of the confirmation at home.
