To allow for line upgrades for the new train fleet the Piccadilly Line is closed between Cockfosters and Uxbridge via Central London on
Tuesday 18 to Thursday 20 August, Tuesday 25 to Thursday 27 August, also Saturday 22 August to 1400
This means that the Piccadilly line will only run between Heathrow and Acton Town. Change at Acton Town for District Line services into central London. For direct journeys use the Elizabeth Line depending on destination.
EDIT- Replacement buses will run as follows-
PL4- All Stations Acton Town to Rayners Lane for the Metropolitan Line to Uxbridge; every 7 1/2 minutes;
PL5- Finchley Central (on the Northern Line) to Arnos Grove then all stations to Cockfosters; at least every 10 minutes;
PL6- Finsbury Park (for National Rail and the Victoria Line) all stations except Bounds Green to Arnos Grove, connecting into the PL5 for Cockfosters.; every 5 minutes.
Use other tube or normal bus routes for all central area stations between Finsbury Park and Gloucester Road.
On 22 August extra replacement buses PL2 will run every 7 1/2 minutes Hammersmith to Hyde Park Corner calling at Earls Court then all stations to Hyde Park Corner, every 2nd bus will extend to and from Acton Town.
