Is it possible to access the Piccadilly line from Heathrow Terminal 2 without going into the airport or without needing to go through terminal security? I will be helping my mother get to the terminal for her departing flight but then I am going on from there to St. Pancras International station to catch the Eurostar to Lille, France.

Thank you for the reply. How do I get to the Piccadilly line? Can I enter the Underground from outside the airport or do I need to go into Terminal 2?

If you are at Terminal 2, just enter the terminal (you don’t need to go through security) and follow the signs to the underground. It is all well marked,

The entrance to the underground itself is between Terminals 2 & 3. But to access it you must enter from either terminal. You won't have to go far into the terminal to find the access to the underground.

You can enter at the Heathrow Central bus station. Indeed that is where the station actuality is underground, with tunnels to T2&3.
