I came to England without buying or activating the Verizon $100 a month coverage and now I can't seem to buy it here in England. I have a locked iPhone and don't have any idea what to do to make calls. I'll be here for a month and will effectively be without a phone, I guess. I do have WhatsApp, but I don't think I can use it unless someone is a contact and I don't think that is going to work for general phone calls. Please help!

According to Verizon, you can add the TravelPass at any time or any location by texting Travel to 4004.

My international plan with Verizon just activated when I first used the phone in Greece, after the Greek SIM i had purchased conked out on my.
Also, I chatted online (computer) wit Verizon while in Greece, even changed my US plan during the trip to earn free travel days in the future

Thank you all so much for your help. I had already tried the website with no luck - just a run-around. But I called the customer service number and finally (after a LONG wait) got someone who was a wonderful help and I got on the $100 for a month plan and now (I hope) everything will go smoothly. I really appreciate all of you taking the time to help!

Glad you hear you finally found someone at Verizon to help you. Be sure your phone is set to Roaming On under Settings, Cellular. Your plan won't work without that as I found out a few years ago.
