Thanks so much for sharing this link. We’ve seen Queen twice with Adam Lambert but this venue and energy have taken it up a notch!

Been a great weekend
To us northerners it always seems like it's sunshine in London.
I was very pleased to see Bill n Ben cavorting down the Mall and Basil Brush with Cliff Richard
What a show.

My favorite moment was the queen with Paddington Bear. When she opened her handbag to take out that marmalade sandwich…..priceless.

It is quite strange to see Rod Steward (not Neil Diamond) singing the Boston Red Sox song to Brits sitting quietly, waving little British flags. LOL. Come to Boston and we'll show you how it is done!

And in another vein and on a historical note, to be singing this (Sweet Caroline) about Ambassador Jos. Kennedy's granddaughter...an ambassador who was working against FDR's orders and against the Brits best interest before WWII and who was fired in embarrassment by FDR...during the Queen's Jubilee. LOL

Don't worry, go to any pub or working mens club and you'll witness something more akin to a Bostonian (?) rendition.

Claudia, thanks for the link.

Yes, favorite moment = the Queen with Paddington Bear. Now we know what she keeps in her handbag.
A marmalade sandwich could always come in handy.

Two of my most favorite personalities together—the Queen and Paddington; absolutely delightful. The whole Jubilee has been a joy to observe and I am so glad the Queen was able to participate in a few of the events.

Luckily being abroad, I have missed most of the festivities over the weekend. I caught the end of the concert, saw What a Wonderful World being murdered by someone I have never heard of, so I switched off.

Sweet Caroline is sung at rugby matches for some reason, so nothing to do with American sport.

Thanks for posting this! I wasn't able to watch it live.

We were in London the weekend before the big events, when they were setting up; in fact we couldn't get "up close and personal" with Buckingham Palace, because it was blocked off for the construction. I was halfway hoping we tested positive for COVID, so we'd have a reason to stick around for another week, although I'm fairly certain our hotel in Westminster (or any other hotel within a 30 mile radius) wouldn't have been able to accommodate us :)

Was in UK that weekend and watched the concert on a big screen in a little village in Essex with a bunch of Brits. Awesome concert and light show.
