Partial/Full Closure of V & A Museums on October 29-30

The V&A locations in London will be either partially or totally closed on October 29 and 30.

This notice is posted on the V&A South Kensington website:

Notice of temporary part closure: 29 & 30 October
V&A South Kensington will be open with a limited offer on 29 & 30 October 2026 due to industrial action. Schiaparelli: Fashion Becomes Art, the café and some ground floor galleries will be open, but the rest of the museum will be closed. We are very sorry for any disappointment and thank you for your understanding.

This notice appears on the V&A East website:

Notice of temporary closure: 29 & 30 October
Please note that V&A East Museum and Storehouse will be closed on 29 & 30 October 2026 due to industrial action. Ticket holders for The Music is Black and the David Bowie Centre will be contacted directly and will receive a full refund. We are very sorry for any disappointment and thank you for your understanding.

I don't see a similar notice on the V&A Dundee website, but I'd advise potential visitors to check on its schedule, because the online info I originally saw on this topic said all the V&A locations would be affected by the strike.

There is a similar notice on the Young V&A site, except that the museum will still be open for pre-booked half term events and for the paid for Wallace and Gromit exhibition, but not the main free collection.
