We have purchased tickets in advance for Windsor Castle and we will be driving our rental car there. We will be arriving mid-day. Please, what is the parking situation like? Where would you suggest we park? Are there shuttles? Thank you!

Where are you driving from?
The one way system in Windsor is hideous, as is parking. I always manage to get lost! I usually park in the multi storey at the shopping centre on Peascod Street. If you don’t know your way around, use your satnav.
I wish you had asked before purchasing tickets and arranging everything.
See what Jennifer wrote? She had it easy.
Is this a weekday or weekend? What month? It makes a large difference between impossible and very difficult.
I remember a few years ago my brother and his 8 year old daughter were with me when we were driving to South London from my house and they wanted to have a walk around the town and see the castle from the outside. We drove around and around that awful one-way scheme for absolutely ages trying to find somewhere, anywhere, I could stop for an hour. We eventually gave up and went on to my cousin's. My brother was unhappy. My niece had some sort of Nintendo device and was happy as a clam - didn't care.
No shuttles.
There are buses in the town. Some go to Heathrow.
As stated, day, time, month, etc. will play into how easy it will be to park. There are a number of public lots in the town, a couple are very close. They show up on google maps. You may want plug a couple addresses into you GPS to help you find them.
Ok, I'll be the one to ask: Do you have an alternative to driving a rental car, presumably from London, to Windsor? Travelers reporting in here tend to really want to avoid driving a rental car in London or burbs, when there are better alternatives available.
You can take the train from Paddington station to Windsor. There is a train change in Slough, but it’s easy. The journey is less than 40 minutes and the walk to the castle from the station in Windsor is about 7 minutes.
Hello Travelers, Thank you for your advice on parking at Windsor. Actually our visit to Windsor will be our last day of our trip. We will have had a rental car for the prior 2 weeks tooling around the countryside (not London) and will be staying in Slough that night before flying out the following day. We used the website offered by the first person who replied, and we now have a parking space reserved for the whole day within easy walking distance of Windsor Castle. Thank you for your help!
Don't leave anything in the car.
