Park and Ride for Oxford?

Hello, my family of three will be driving up to Oxford from Bath on August 13 to spend the day, then moving on to Chipping Campden by evening where we will stay that night. It sounds like leaving the car at the outskirts of Oxford and bussing in is the way to go? Looking at a map, would Seacourt be the right one to aim for? Has anyone done this? Is there a closer place to park? It sounds like something is always under construction which complicates matters. From looking at the carpark websites it appears that paying for parking and the bus tickets are included in one price? I don't mind the higher prices if parking at Westgate Shopping Center, recommended in other posts, is faster and less stressful. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

I would recommend avoiding Seacourt P&R at the moment as with the closure of the Botley Road the "ride" doesn't even reach the railway station let alone the centre. I would suggest Peartree.

There are various alternative charges either all in or the parking and bus separated. What is best depends on your party.
