Paddington Station

I am looking at any apartment on Bishop Bridge Rd around the corner from Paddington Station.
Is this a safe area for females walking alone?

Yes. Usual big city safety advice applies. But is there any particular reason for staying in Paddington?

I am booking late so not many apartments available. This is just one I found that the price is affordable.
Two bedrooms and two baths were hard to find. I would like a clean bed and clean bathroom.

Yes, this area is absolutely fine. The one thing to be aware of in London these days is phone snatching (this applies to any neighbourhood)- people come up on motorised bikes/scooters and grab your phone out of your hands. So if you are using your phone for directions pull off to the side and just be aware of your surroundings. Other than that you should be fine.

OP…..
Have stayed in the area for decades.
Solo female traveler, born when Truman occupied 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

I like being to stroll from Paddington to my accommodation, love the Mitre pub, the Victoria pub, Shiela’s cafe and Tudkin. As an early riser always appreciated that I could walk into Hyde Park at the Serpentine at 5am.

Transport around London was easy either via the tube or by bus.

Go for it and enjoy London!

I too love The Victoria Pub. I took my sister and niece there on one of our trips and now it has become one of their favorite pubs too! They love the food there.
