Pack-n-Play Rentals

The Airbnb we are staying in does not provide a crib or pack-n-play. We were thinking of renting one for our stay in Westminster. I’ve looked and there are several rental agencies that get good reviews so I’m not sure who to go with. Does anyone have any first hand experience with renting something? Appreciate any suggestions with regards to renting or if anyone has any other ideas besides renting. Thanks

If you decide not to rent, (though renting seems a great option) you can purchase one while there, and then donate it to a baby thrift shop when you are finished with it. Or pay the excess baggage/special bag fee and bring it home. Or perhaps you could order one on Amazon and have it shipped to the Airbnb with the permission of the owner; and ask if they'd want to keep it?

The funny thing is when our kids were little we could just check it with the airline and go. There were no fees. Thirty years later, we still have a step stool we bought on vacation for our little one, to be able to use in our vacation rental. I can still remember it coming down on the baggage carousel upon arrival home. When I see how much is required now to travel with little ones, I really admire you all!

And if you are using Amazon as the suggestion above use amazon.co.uk and consider to have sent to the AirBnB owner/manager or to a "pick up" location. This worked great for us in France for a few things we needed at our rental house. We just left the few things there at the end (inexpensive US style coffee maker, computer accessory I forgot what else).

Just so you know, they are not called pack and plays in England. They are known as ‘travel cots’. The cheapest one on Amazon is £35 so I don’t think it would be worth renting one from a cost point of view.

Thanks for all the great info. I think it will be more cost effective to buy one from Amazon. It’s for my nephew’s daughter so I’ll let him know what y’all suggested and go from there.
