My wife and I will be arriving in London in September and will be taking the train from Heathrow to Paddington station. I see there are two trains; Heathrow express and connect. My question is can I use the oyster card for the connect train or do I have to buy a separate ticket?

Neither trains from Heathrow accept Oyster. The underground from Heathrow does.
(Strictly speaking the Connect does - but only from Hayes. You would need to buy a separate ticket to get there though.)
If choosing the Express consider pre buying the 'Duo Saver' (£50 return covering both of you).

Thanks for the tip. The Heathrow express is expensive enough. It's nice to find a way to save some money.
