Is it feasible to want to visit the Vale of the White Horse if we are staying two days in the Cotswolds?
It is very feasible to want to visit it. It is even feasible to actually make the want come true if you have a car, not difficult at all.
However without a car I can imagine it would be very difficult. No train, no canal, maybe a bus or two to the town but no knowledge of getting out to the carving.
You confuse me with where you will be going from. Your question title says, "Oxford" but the question says, "Cotswolds" and Oxford is by no means in the Cotswolds.
Could you fill in one or two of blanks, please, in order to get a better answer.
There are three buses a day to Uffington from Swindon, four from Wantage and one from Farringdon. So not at all convenient by public transport.
We're spending most of a day in Oxford, then taking the train to Moreton-in-Marsh. We are staying two nights in Bourton-on-the-Water. I probably don't have quite enough time this trip. Dang it. Thanks.
