From 12:10am on Sunday 1 February to 4:45am on Monday 9 February 2026 there will be no trains between Oxford and Didcot Parkway to allow for demolition and replacement of the Botley Road bridge.
This is to allow for modernisation and expansion of Oxford station.
Thus no through service to Paddington, and no through Cross Country service to the south coast. Cross Country are terminating at Banbury with rail replacement buses between Banbury and Oxford, trains are restarting to the south (and to Paddington) at Didcot Parkway.
Rail Replacement buses will be provided.
Oxford to London Marylebone and Oxford to Moreton in Marsh/Worcester trains are not affected, and will run as normal.
