Oxford parking in September

We will arrive Oxford mid-morning (a Monday) for one day and an overnight.
Planning on staying at the Bath Hotel (next to Turf Tavern).
Hotel has parking for $25lbs (seems a but steep).
Thus was thinking of utilizing Thornhill park and ride.

Anybody use any of these or have any thoughts based on experience there?

thank you all in advance!!!

£25 is not steep for off road parking in central Oxford - most of the public ones are £35 for more than 8 hours.

Yes it is expensive but Google streetview the area around your hotel and you'll see why. Although I use Park and Rides during the day I have never contemplated leaving a car there overnight. The rules say you can though.

If you're over 24 hours it is £8, otherwise £4. Plus £6 for one trip into Oxford and one trip back for the two of you to retrieve the car.

If it were I, having the car nearby and available would be worth the additional £10. The bus stop in the centre is not far from your hotel, but it isn't on the doorstep either. Do you have a lot of luggage to move? (Don't leave anything in the car of any value at the P&R. and nothing in sight).

Parking in Oxford is a huge problem. Most visitors with cars park at car parks on the outskirts of the city.

We visited Oxford on a day trip from Chipping Campden and took the train.

We did a nice walking tour.
