Oxford Film Scenes--Masters of the Air

I suspect that anyone who has watched the series and knows Oxford well can readily answer this question.

At the end of episode six in Masters of the Air, Harry Crosby and Sandra Westgate (played by Bel Powley) are returning to the Oxford college where they are staying, and at the entrance, a man approaches Westgate and says, "Subaltern, we've been scouring the college for you. An urgent message." She then leaves immediately, riding a bicycle that she is "borrowing" down the street. On what street or in the front of what college was that scene in Masters filmed?

I know some Oxford scenes were shot on Catte Street by Radcliffe Camera and the Bridge of Sighs.

I remember that scene, but don't know Oxford enough to guess at the location. But I will be heading there soon so will check it out.

If you can link to a clip of the scene or screenshots, it might increase the chance of getting an answer.

The only way to watch it, Badger, is through Apple TV+ with a subscription, so you can't link to it. And you can't even take a screenshot of it. But if anyone has access, it's the scene in episode 6, starting right around 0.48 min.

And you can't even take a screenshot of it.

You can in a low tech way. Just use a camera/phone and take a picture of the TV screen. Then you could use google search by image and see if you get a match.

I may have to find someone younger to help do a Google search using a photo taken on my cell phone. But I have tried doing a Google search using several different entries to find a scene showing the street online. Several Oxford scenes appear, such as the two walking down the street towards the Bridge of Sighs before the two characters find the party they attend. But I do not see any scene of the two outside the college entrance.

I can provide one tip. There is a ring of gargoyles around the building's large entrance.

I hope to be in Oxford in October. I am sure a guide will recognize the street in the scene immediately.

It's a pity that the forum does not allow you to post the photos. But if you take a couple of photos and post them somewhere on the internet and link to them here, it will be easier.

I'm pretty familiar with Oxford and there are those here that live there. But, I don't have an Apple TV subscription.

Oh, you're right—I recognize the gate! Thanks for coming back with that. I just finished the series on Thursday night and loved the last episode!
