Oxford City Guided Tour: Bodleian vs Footprints

We'll take a guided tour of the Bodleian Library through the Bodleian (what I believe is their official website).

We're also considering either the Bodleian's City of Oxford tour, or the Footprints-tours University & City Tour with Alumni Guide, both 2 hours, £20 & £30 respectively.

Has anyone taken those and have recommendations?

Thanks!

The tour of the Bodlean itself is well worth doing, but gets booked up. I don’t know the other tours but there are plenty of walking tours departing from Broad St (v near the library). I think some of these are free, the guide gets paid by tips

We took the Radcliffe Camera and City of Oxford Walking Tour and the City of Oxford Walking Tour. The RC and COWT was very informative and we were able to go through the tunnel to the RC and walk through it. The CoOWT was a bit of a misnomer for us because our tour guide focused on just a small area--it didn't actually cover the city center. Their website states "Our City Walking Tour includes walking around Oxford city centre" but ours didn't. It was still worthwhile.
