Can anyone recommend a pub room is the cotswolds area, maybe the Castle Combe area. Looking for an older place and tried booking.com but nothing is grabbing me. They all seem to modern

Search Castle Combe on an online map. Put on Satellite mode, zoom into town. There will be icons to tell you which are Inns. Castle Combe is small, in a more rural area. Look in the bigger villages for heritage inns. Click on the blip marker and it will bring up photos and info. I've often brought up the street view to look at building signs and what the street is like. Sometimes there are B&B rooms in Manor Houses. Good Luck!
