Open in the rain? St. Paul's Cathedral Golden Gallery, London

Hi friends -

I'm planning a visit to St. Paul's Cathedral in London on Monday, May 20, and want to see the view from the Golden Gallery. But before I purchase entry tickets, does anyone know if the Gallery is open in rainy weather? I've Googled this question and can't find an answer.

I don’t absolutely know for sure but St Paul’s website says this:

The gallery's design allows it to withstand high winds and other weather conditions, making it a stable and secure place to take in the views.

…which to me indicates that there’s no reason for it to be closed in the rain.
