One night in Westminster May 19th

Hi Three of us are joining a garden tour with Brightwater Holidays on May 20th The tour meets on Tothill Street. at 8:00am so we need to arrive the day before. Any suggestions of where to stay for one night?

There is a Hub by Premier Inn on Tothill Street if you can cope with small rooms.

It would be helpful to know what your budget is. Are you looking for a triple room for the three of you, or do you each want your own room?

Well, keep in mind that the hub by Premier Inn does not have triple rooms, so if you have three people, you would need to get at least two rooms. And depending on who the third person is, you may need to anyway.

Is this a child of yours or a third adult? If it's a third adult, you would almost assuredly need to get two rooms at least. If it's a child under age 16, you can probably make do with what the Premier Inn calls a family room. That said, the Premier Inn Hub will not have family rooms; only the regular PIs.

There is another hotel called Sanctuary House that is on Tothill Street that does have a family room that you might check out, although I'm sure it's more expensive than the Premier Inn hub.

Edit: I hate to tell you this but one of the reasons the Premier Inn is NOT inexpensive is because you are booking so late in the game. Their prices rise as you get closer to the date you need them. If you really wanted a good price, you should have booked 3-4 months ago.

The Travelodge Vauxhall is near my office but staff are not allowed to book it because of previous security ‘incidents’ on site. Avoid.

That's good to know, Emma. Yikes—I'll keep that in mind next time I'm recommending something. 😊

Hopefully your 3rd person is a small child. The Hub only allows 2 adults per room. And the rooms are small. I don't know if a rollaway bed would even fit.

Absolutely no room for a rollaway in a Hub room.

There is not really room for two people in a Hub room, to be honest.

Doing a bit of lateral thinking the Premier Inn Putney Bridge has a family room that night (2 Adults and 1 Child aged 2 to 15) for £120.

It is right behind Putney Bridge District Line Station- 9 stops (18 minutes) to St James' Park. Looking at the PDF line timetable the 0709 arrives at 0726, then an 0717 and an 0721.

and it's across from the Uber boats/Thames Clippers Putney pier. The first boat from Putney calling at Westminster Pier at 0700 calls there at 0743 which is very tight, but a back stop option.

If you do go for the Putney option definitely aim to take the earlier tube. The District line can be slow and the 18min journey time is probably a bit optimistic.

If you are still stuck for accommodation look at places on the Jubilee line which stops at Westminster,

Thank you all. We decided on the Hub. Best for three adult women just to get our own rooms. Upon leaving we won’t have the location restraint so we will check out a new location.
