Wife and daughter have two britrail passes with expiration date of sep 2020 , never used, due to shutdown for Covid. Is there a way to get a refund or replacement?

I suppose you should contact the place that you purchased them from and ask them this question. My first instinct is that this is a question that should have been asked in Sept 2020 for the most positive results……
There is nothing to be lost in asking, though, so contact the vendor and ask.
