NTL Express Coach

This bus service was suggested to me as a way to get from the airport to Kensington area. I like the idea of being able to store my luggage while travelling. Has anyone else chosen this company from the airport?

Where are you staying in Kensington? It is a big area.

There is a National Express Coach to Earls Court (also there is one to Victoria Station). Earl’s Court is in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea and if your hotel is in this vicinity and you prefer the coach, it would work fine. If you are in another part of the borough, a different option might be better.

Some people like taking the coach. I frequently stay in Earl’s court and I prefer taking the tube.

Is NTL supposed to be an abbreviation for "National?"

Where are you going in Kensington? The coach may not be your best bet.

I know the stop. It is about a 12-15 minute walk with luggage to the Earls Court Station. Longer for hotels east of the station as the stop is northwest of the station.

It looks like a regular city bus stop. So, if you need transport from there you will either have to wait for a cab to pass and hail it or call for an Uber. There is no taxi rank.

The schedule is approximately two per hour depending on what time you plan to take it.

The Piccadilly Line runs to Earls Court Station. It takes approximately 40 minutes, runs every few minutes and costs 3.90 GBP. I've lost count how many times I've taken it with the most recent being Friday.

BTW, I've never seen the National Express abbreviated to NTL Express on this forum. I thought it was a new bus company. What many do is write out National Express the first time and then abbreviate to NE.

Thanks for the information. I am from Canada and NTL is a common abbreviation used for National. No offense intended. I will be more aware in future.
