Northern Rail super cheap fare sale (Edit: GWR too)

Northern Rail serves, surprisingly, the north of England.

If you'll be around and can bag one of the bargains they are a good deal.

Northern Rail has has a new schedule since December and has has some issues, so this is sort of a payback - get on the plan if you can.

The FLASH sale has already started and runs until 4pm England time on Friday, January 13 and tickets are valid for travel between Tuesday, January 17 and Friday, March 10 on Northern services only.

The tickets have to be bought on their website or app.

Are you real?

Using both on a daily basis, Northern Rail are the worse by a country mile. If for no other reason TPE have new rolling stock. I live in Huddersfield and its TPE anyday. You?

It’s been quicker for me to drive from Beverley to Hull station then wait for the train which is meant to take 15 minutes.

My only options from Hudds are TPE or Northern Rail. I can tell you 1st hand that apart from the cold draughty rolling stock NR have far more cancellations.

if you take GWR take your time at the ticket vending machines, I asked for two same day returns and sure enough I got two little tickets but as I analyzed them it appeared they were only for a party of one. And when I got to Bath the agent confirmed I was right.
